Our Story
Milback Custom Homes emerged from Milback Construction Company LLC, a full-service general contractor established in New York State in 1912.
Our journey is rooted in a deep commitment to honesty, quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional results. We believe in providing a better client experience, valuing the long-term relationships built on trust with our dedicated employees and partners.

Ronald M. Milback, MBA, CGP
President & Senior Construction Project Manager
Ron is a native of Baldwinsville, NY, and is passionate about promoting positive community and economic growth. His primary goal stems from a desire to improve the rapidly growing housing market in Central New York. In 2012, with encouragement from friends, vendors, and partners in the industry, Ron dedicated his career to the legacy of his father, Ronald Howard Milback, in the development and management of Milback Custom Homes.
Ron holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Syracuse University, equipping him with the strategic insight necessary to navigate the complexities of the housing market. As President of Milback Custom Homes, he is responsible for the continual assessment and development of the company’s vision, setting and communicating its long-term direction. Ron ensures that short-term goals and objectives align with external market forces, such as shifts in demand and lot availability.
In addition to his role at Milback Custom Homes, Ron is an active member of the Housing Task Force with Center State CEO, contributing to planning and policy efforts aimed at preparing the region’s businesses and communities for anticipated growth and changes in the housing market.
Ron believes in leading by example, recognizing that setting a positive personal standard is crucial for the company’s success. He takes a hands-on approach at every stage of home construction and exemplifies integrity in both his personal and professional endeavors. In his free time, Ron serves as a current board member of the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation and is a former Chairman of the New Building Committee for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County. He is also a former board member of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY.

Christie L. Milback, MS, PA-C
Operations & Facilities Manager
Christie Milback is the Operations & Facilities Manager at Milback Custom Homes LLC, where she plays a crucial role in ensuring the company’s operational success. A graduate of Iona University, Christie majored in Biology and Chemistry and excelled as a Division One lacrosse player in the attack position.
In her current role, she oversees all aspects of billing, payroll, and financing, ensuring the company’s financial health and operational efficiency. Christie’s strong analytical skills and commitment to excellence are integral to Milback Custom Homes’ mission of delivering high-quality residential development and service. She also holds a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Le Moyne College.
In addition to managing day-to-day administrative operations, Christie develops and implements procedures for inventory control and accounting, as well as task delegation, providing essential support to the project management team. She also actively communicates with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to foster creative design solutions. Together with her husband Ron, Christie serves on the Board of Directors for the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, further demonstrating her commitment to community engagement and philanthropy.

Ronald H. Milback
Senior Construction Estimator
Ronald Howard Milback is a native of Manlius, New York, and resides in the Camillus area. With over 45 years of experience and a lifetime of practical knowledge in residential development, Ron has honed his skills in applied field techniques from his father, Donald LeRoy. As Senior Construction Estimator at Milback Custom Homes LLC, he applies his extensive expertise in construction management, project proposals, and building design to effectively lead and supervise the teams.
In his role, Ron is responsible for developing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure that projects stay on budget and on schedule. He provides constant guidance to team leads and his son, fostering an environment that encourages independence, growth, and maturity within the company. Having attended SUNY Morrisville for Construction Management, Ron’s hands-on approach helps maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, Penny, and their many grandchildren. He also actively volunteers for various cancer research charities throughout Central New York and is becoming increasingly involved in the political landscape of the region.

Bryan Eldridge
Junior Construction Project Manager
Bryan Eldridge serves as a Junior Construction Project Manager at Milback Custom Homes LLC. He earned his Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) with a major in Fire Protection and brings over 18 years of experience in the building science field, honed through his career as a professional firefighter.
In his role, Bryan is responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. His duties include managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, and monitoring budgetary constraints. Bryan also conducts site inspections to assess progress and quality, ensuring that projects align with design specifications and timelines.
In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys. He is passionate about golf, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.

Ryan Welch
New Construction Sales Representative
Ryan Welch is a New Construction Sales Representative at Milback Custom Homes LLC. He holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science and brings several years of experience in sales to his role.
In his position, Ryan is responsible for guiding clients through the home buying process, from initial consultation to closing. He actively engages with potential buyers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored information about available properties and construction options. Ryan collaborates closely with project managers and design teams to ensure that clients’ visions are accurately represented in their new homes. Additionally, he conducts property tours, prepares sales presentations, and maintains relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two boys, often engaging in outdoor activities and family adventures.

Tony Albanese
Field Crew Associate
Tony Albanese is a Field Crew Associate at Milback Custom Homes LLC, where he utilizes his extensive technical experience to assist the field crews with various construction tasks. With a background as a mechanic, Tony brings a strong understanding of machinery and technical systems to his role, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.
In addition to his work at Milback Custom Homes, Tony is an active volunteer firefighter, demonstrating his commitment to community service and teamwork. His diverse skill set and hands-on approach make him a valuable asset to the construction team, as he tackles challenges on-site with expertise and dedication.
